Tim McPhail, Principal
Tim’s career has seen him work at senior levels in both the private and public sectors for more than 20 years. Before starting TJM Public Affairs, Tim was the General Manager of External Affairs at an ASX 50 company and has extensive experience working in the telecommunications sector.
He has more than a decade of consulting experience, advising numerous organisations across many industries on engaging with governments, stakeholders and the media, and on proactively managing legislative, regulatory and political risks.
Tim served as a senior political and policy adviser to a Labor Government Minister, working across the Transport, Energy and Housing portfolios.
He is a passionate advocate on behalf of the disability sector and served for 7 years on the Advisory Council of the Kids Neuroscience Centre at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, Sydney.
Tim has an Executive MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology, Sydney.
